When this warning appears, spectators are strongly urged to take precautions and seek shelter. The safest place to be is in a vehicle. Spectators parked at satellite parking lots should take into consideration the time it takes to catch a shuttle bus back to those lots. If the siren sounds suspending play, put down your umbrella and seek shelter immediately. Avoid the following: bleachers, hilltops or high places, open fields, bodies of water, metal or wire fences, tall trees, isolated trees, telephone poles, golf carts, or wearing metal golf shoes.
